BMC Discovery Location: Pune, Mumbai and Bangalore Experience: 3+ Years Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech / BSc / MSc / BCA / MCA Posting Date: 20-Jun-2025 Job Description: Software Engineer is responsible for implementation and operational support of BMC Discovery solutions. Key Accountabilities / Duties: Strong understanding and hands-on experience of BMC Discovery 11.x platforms Creating custom reports as per customer requirement. Creating and maintaining business application models using start anywhere (SAAM & CAM) approach in ADDM Creating custom software instances based on the application process in ADDM Troubleshooting ADDM/Discovery scan issues of various kinds of infrastructure (Unix, Windows, Appliance) Strong understanding of Infrastructure level Write TPLs Technology Pattern Language to enhance discovery data quality and CMDB synchronization for custom attributes. Troubleshooting whenever the application components stopped being discovered. Taking a backup of application models through ADDM and Importing the models into ADDM when it is required. Integration with BMC Remedy Sound knowledge of the Discovery Exception process management. Perform system and application setup/support and maintenance in conjunction with the regularly scheduled maintenance Scripting knowledge (Unix, Perl, SQL) Excellent communication, and presentation skills Working with BMC Vendor to fix the defects\bugs encountered in ADDM Provide Level-2 and Level-3 support for ADDM Experience Monitor appliance health Experience in ADDM Upgrade Requirements: Candidate must possess a bachelors degree. Experience level 3+ years Should have worked in Application Managed Services environment,
