Location: Bangalore, India Experience Required: 6 to 10 years Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Bluetooth Firmware Engineer to join our team in Bangalore on a contractual basis (CWF). The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in embedded systems programming, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and Bluetooth host/firmware development. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and debug Bluetooth firmware for embedded systems. Work closely with cross-functional teams including hardware, software, and QA to deliver reliable and high-performance firmware solutions. Optimize firmware for power, memory, and performance. Contribute to the Bluetooth Host Stack and protocol-level implementations. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration. Analyze and resolve firmware issues reported during integration or from the field. Required Skills & Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field. 610 years of experience. Strong hands-on experience in C programming Deep understanding of RTOS concepts and development Bluetooth host and/or firmware development experience Solid experience in embedded systems and device driver development Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers) Additional Requirements: Knowledge of BLE, Classic Bluetooth, and Bluetooth profiles Exposure to protocol analyzers like Ellisys, Frontline Experience with ARM Cortex-M based microcontrollers Familiarity with Agile development practices Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
