Key Responsibilities: Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment in compliance with safety standards. Perform routine checks and troubleshooting of medical devices to ensure optimal performance. Quality Assurance: Conduct calibration and performance tests on medical equipment to meet regulatory standards. Maintain detailed records of maintenance and testing activities. Training and Support: Train healthcare staff on the proper usage and care of medical equipment. Provide technical support during critical procedures as required. Procurement Assistance: Assist in the evaluation and selection of new biomedical equipment. Coordinate with vendors for equipment purchases, warranties, and servicing. Compliance and Documentation: Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and safety protocols. Maintain inventory of spare parts and ensure timely procurement to avoid downtime. Collaboration: Work closely with clinical and administrative teams to understand and fulfill equipment needs. Provide input on strategies for improving the hospitals technological infrastructure.
