Job Description
1. Customer Service
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding suitable toys.
- Understand customer needs (e.g., age, preferences, budget) and recommend appropriate products.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or returns professionally.
2. Product Knowledge
- Stay informed about the features, benefits, and safety guidelines of toys.
- Be aware of current trends, popular brands, and seasonal items.
- Educate customers on how toys work and their suitability by age or developmental stage.
3. Sales
- Promote and upsell products to meet sales targets.
- Operate the cash register, handle payments (cash/card), and issue receipts.
- Inform customers about promotions, discounts, or loyalty programs.
4. Stock Management
- Assist with inventory control: restock shelves, check for low stock, and report discrepancies.
- Unpack and display new merchandise attractively.
- Ensure toys are organized, priced, and displayed according to store standards.
5. Store Maintenance
- Keep the store tidy and clean, ensuring shelves and displays are neat and safe.
- Monitor the safety of products (e.g., removing damaged items).
- Follow store policies on security and loss prevention.
6. Team Collaboration
- Coordinate with other staff to ensure smooth store operations.
- Participate in meetings, training, or product briefings.
