Overview This position is for a Senior Software Engineer responsible for architecting and implementing software applications working with Japanese customers. The job location will be Trivandrum, India and will be needed to work from Japan also based on the project needs. Work involves requirement elicitation, software architecture design, development of applications, and coordination with the offshore team. He/ she will be responsible for taking each assigned project/ module to completion ensuring the quality of deliverables working very closely with customers transferring the contents to the team and implementing it. Job Responsibilities Transforming design ideas into functional applications, especially creating the specification of the application Analyzing, designing, developing, and debugging software for prototypes and user experiences Understand the design of existing web and mobile applications and transfer the design to team members Working with customers from concept design to design, implementation, and testing by ensuring the quality of the work products in each stage Effectively communicate with customers, engage in customer discussions, actively participate in the meeting with customer Ensure the delivery from the team is on par with quality and customer expectations before delivering to the customer. Translation of technical Japanese documents. Qualifications and Requirements Graduate in computer science or electronics engineering JLPT N3 or higher At least 4+ years of experience as a software designer and software engineer Strong knowledge in any of the programming languages like C++, Java, or C# Experience in working with web-based application development and understanding the concept of mobile applications. Good understanding of software design concepts and hands-on experience in designing medium-complex software Knowledge of understanding existing systems, and their requirements and preparing the software based on the understanding.
