Key Responsibilities: Event Coordination: Plan and oversee all aspects of banquet events, including setup, execution, and teardown. Ensure that events run smoothly and meet or exceed client expectations. Team Management: Supervise and train banquet staff, including servers, bartenders, and setup personnel. Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for events. Client Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and preferences. Provide professional recommendations and ensure all client requests are met. Logistics and Operations: Manage banquet operations including inventory control, equipment maintenance, and the setup of tables, chairs, and decorations. Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards. Budget Management: Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective solutions while maintaining high-quality service standards. Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service, handling any issues or complaints promptly and effectively. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor at all times. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., kitchen, sales, and marketing) to ensure seamless event execution and alignment with overall business goals. Qualifications: Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in banquet management or a similar role within the hospitality industry. Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressure. Education: A degree or diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge: Proficient in event planning and execution, with a good understanding of food and beverage service. Personal Attributes: Professional demeanor with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
