As an Avaya Orchestration Designer (OD) Developer at our company, you will play a crucial role in crafting intelligent voice applications and seamless call flows to enhance customer engagement experiences. Your responsibilities will include building, designing, and maintaining Avaya OD applications and intelligent IVR workflows. You will collaborate with business analysts, architects, and developers to translate business needs into robust technical solutions. Integration with APIs, databases, and web services will be essential for ensuring seamless cross-platform functionality. Your ownership of the quality assurance process, including testing, debugging, documentation, and continuous improvement, will be integral to the success of the applications throughout their lifecycle. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience with Avaya Orchestration Designer and IVR call flow development. Proficiency in Java is required, along with a solid understanding of XML, XSLT, JSON, and relational databases such as SQL and Oracle. Knowledge of telephony protocols, SIP routing, and voice platforms is essential, as well as sharp problem-solving and debugging skills. Experience with Avaya Experience Portal, AES, or similar Avaya voice components is a valuable asset. Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and hands-on exposure to contact center migration projects will be beneficial for modernizing legacy IVRs and transitioning between platforms.
