Role Description This is a full-time on-site Audit role located in Surat at Agarwal & Dhandhania. The role involves conducting financial audits, analyzing financial statements, communicating audit findings, and providing financial advisory services. The Audit position requires attention to detail, adherence to auditing standards, and collaboration with team members. Technical competencies and knowledge: Proficient knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards Understanding of key concepts including but not limited to risk assessment, internal controls testing and substantive audit testing Ability to plan and execute audits and managing timelines Strong time management and organizational skills to manage multiple audits simultaneously, meeting deadlines and budgets. Capability to monitor and report on audit progress, ensuring tasks are completed as planned Strong analytical skills to assess financial data, identify discrepancies, and evaluate risks. Ability to interpret complex financial information, spotting potential issues or errors. Proactive in problem-solving and identifying opportunities for process improvements. Familiarity with financial report disclosures, including consolidation and financial analysis Ability to prepare general purpose financial reports in accounting software (caseware) Commitment to staying updated on changes in accounting standards, and audit methodologies. Participation in professional development activities, such as CA seminars and workshops, to maintain certifications and enhance skills. 2. Documentation and Reporting: Ability to maintain organised, high quality and comprehensive audit workpapers and documentation Meticulous in reviewing audit evidence, ensuring accuracy and completeness in audit workpapers and financial statements Strong focus on quality control, ensuring the audit meets the firms standards and complies with regulations. Ability to prepare reporting deliverables Ability to prepare general purpose financial reports in caseware in compliance to AASB. 3. Client Interaction and Communication skills Strong communication skills for client correspondences and for team meetings. Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their needs and delivering high-quality service. Skilled in communicating audit findings and providing practical recommendations to clients. Ability to handle client queries and complex issues with professionalism and ethics without compromise. 4. Team Collaboration other skills Ability to work in a team to accomplish audit objectives and meet project deadlines.
