Job Description
As a Research Associate in the Intellectual Property (IP) department, you will be responsible for conducting various types of patent searches and analyses. With 2-3 years of experience, you will be based in Navi Mumbai, India, working on-site. Your primary responsibilities will include performing Patentability Studies and Novelty Searches, conducting Prior-art, Invalidation, and Freedom to Operate searches, and analyzing patents based on client requirements. You will also be involved in preparing technical documents and reports, presenting patent information visually, and engaging in discussions with inventors. Additionally, you will conduct Secondary Research and Competitive benchmarking. To excel in this role, you must have a solid understanding of technology, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and proficient writing abilities. A strong technical background is essential, with mandatory skills in Patent Drafting, Prior Art Search, Patentability, Patent Analysis, and Novelty Search.
