Job Description
As an Associate Finance & Operations Partner, you will play a crucial role in providing support in finance, operations, and executive assistance. Reporting directly to the Chief Thinking Partner, your responsibilities will be vital in ensuring efficient financial management, streamlined operational processes, and high-level executive support. Your collaboration with the leadership team is essential for managing day-to-day financial tasks, enhancing operational efficiency, and contributing to the overall success of the business. Your responsibilities will include: Executive Assistance: - Efficiently manage calendar planning, schedule meetings, and coordinate key events. - Respond to emails and communications promptly. - Conduct desk research as required. Operations & Business Support: - Oversee regional operations including opening, expansion, and possibly closing operations. - Manage subscriptions, memberships, and renewals for continuous service. - Address IT-related issues and coordinate with external vendors when necessary. Finance & Accounting: - Provide support in accounting processes to ensure accurate financial tracking and reporting. - Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and offer insights to the leadership team. - Ensure tax compliance and liaise with external accountants when needed. - Aid in the preparation of financial offers and proposals. Process Improvement & Strategy: - Identify opportunities to streamline finance and operations workflows. - Support leadership in data-driven decision-making through comprehensive reports and insights. - Implement best practices in financial management and operational efficiency. We are looking for candidates who possess: - 3+ years of experience in finance, operations, or executive support. - Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and accounting principles. - Experience in business operations, administrative management, or IT coordination. - Proficiency in financial tools, accounting software, and data analysis. - Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage priorities effectively. - Experience in freelance, start-up, or international business environments is a plus.,
