Job Description
As a part of the valuations team, you will be responsible for undertaking various assignments related to business valuation, equity valuation, financial reporting valuation (including impairment testing, purchase price allocation, financial instrument valuation), as well as regulatory valuations under FEMA, Companies Act, and IT regulations, along with Private Equity valuations. Your role will involve having a solid understanding of accounting standards relevant to valuations under Ind AS, IFRS, and US GAAP. You will be required to design detailed project plans according to expected delivery milestones, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure delivery within the target budget while maintaining high delivery quality. Conceptualizing engagement solutions, training team members, managing clients on a day-to-day basis, providing regular updates to engagement leaders and partners, and conducting financial analysis, comparable analysis, and market data research as per the engagement scope will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to gather and analyze information from various sources, break down knowledge into manageable components, provide options and recommendations, and draw logical conclusions. Experience in financial reporting valuations such as ESOPs, Purchase Price Allocation, and Financial Instruments valuation will be beneficial. Being aware of key industry trends and metrics, structuring engagement deliverables, preparing insightful reports and presentations, establishing trusting relationships with clients and team members, and actively participating in Business Development Activities are key aspects of this role. You should be able to work independently with minimal guidance, seek continual self-improvement, comply with organizational rules and procedures, and demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, project management, team management, and analytical skills. Proficiency in report writing, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines, are essential. A positive attitude, high energy, adaptability, accountability, a thirst for learning and development, and respectful interaction with others are qualities that we value. Demonstration of integrity, values, principles, work ethic, and leading by example are also important in this role. With 8-10 years of experience in valuations and qualifications such as an MBA (from a top-tier B-School), CA, or CFA, along with prior experience in a professional consultancy firm, you will be well-equipped to excel in this position. Executed engagements related to valuations in Mergers and Acquisitions, financial reporting, and corporate finance will be advantageous for this role.,
