Company Description Luxury Cruise Liners Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Storekeeper - Uniform / Linen for a cruise client on a luxury cruise ship .The Assistant Storekeeper will be responsible for day-to-day tasks such as packing and unpacking uniforms and linens, inventory control, inventory management, unloading shipments, maintaining storage areas, Education Qualification & Experience Secondary school At least2-years experience in a similar position withother cruise company OR At least 1-years experienceasAsst. Hotel Storekeeper or Asst. Hotel Storekeeper- Linen Job Description Assists to the Hotel Storekeeper in all operation of loading and offloading of uniforms in the Hotel Storeroom, in accordance with Company procedures Controls the quality and quantity of uniforms received, in order to report any discrepancy Prepares requisitions requisition system, in order to request the correct number of uniforms needed, according to Company standards the fitting of the uniforms and sells them to the Crew Members following Company Procedure gives constant feedback on the consumptions and quantities of the uniforms kept in the stores, in order to track items availability Controls the fitting and selling flow of uniforms trough reports preparation, in order to have a clear understanding of the situation Participates, when needed, in the loading operation in order to supportthe Department Performs other duties / tasks if required by Line Manager Facilitate a work environment that supports a successful safety culture.Is responsible for ensuring that his/her team implements and maintains an effective supervision and management of workplace.
