As an Assistant Manager in the Warehouse department located in Chennai, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing warehouse operations. You should have a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse management, particularly in a multi-product warehousing environment. Strong communication skills are essential, as you will be interacting with clients, suppliers, and vendors in both English and Tamil. Your key responsibilities will include managing inventory, tracking shipments, optimizing space utilization, and supervising the movement of goods. You will need to coordinate with various departments, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, overseeing logistics planning, and leading a team to meet client deadlines. Experience in maintaining Inventory, warehouse operations, MIS, WMS, and coordination with customs is necessary for this role. Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, supply chain management, and warehouse management systems is crucial. Labour planning, maintaining MIS records, and updating stock reports are also part of your daily tasks. This is a full-time, permanent position with day and morning shifts. Fluency in Tamil and Hindi is required. Health insurance and Provident Fund benefits will be provided.
