Job Description

As an Assistant Manager in the Experience Center at Baaya Design, you will be initiating and developing prospective customers through an immersive journey into our signature collections and unique spatial design capabilities. You will have multi-tasking responsibilities that map business development, customer relation building and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: On-the-Floor Engagement Engaging with customers to meet business targets and generate project enquiries. Build the customer experience through conducting walkthroughs of the Experience Center, sharing insights into our displayed work, presenting our unique proposition while highlighting traditional techniques and artisanal excellence in our designs. Business Development Respond effectively to customer needs, providing tailored presentations and costing that resonate with their aesthetic and individual requirements. Foster lasting relationships with clients, HNI customers, and the Architect/Interior design community. In-House Responsibilities Oversee packing and packaging with attention to detail and presentation. Manage documentation and administration stock and inventory replenishment, store upkeep, and sales reports. Desired Skills and Qualifications Excellent Communication Skills: Clear, professional, and personable communication style, with the ability to engage with a diverse clientele. Sales: Strong understanding of sales process, costing, and client presentation skills. Team Player: Collaborative and supportive, with a strong sense of initiative. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point) and basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator) Bachelors degree from a reputed institute (with good academic record) Experience: 2-3 Years of experience in related industry. Good to have Passion for Indian Heritage- knowledge of heritage art and craft skills from India will help. Design and Material Understanding- An understanding of design principles and materials, with an interest in learning and conveying the story behind each piece.
