Job Description
As a member of the Business Intelligence Team at Howden, a Chart Industries Company, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions to drive data-driven decision-making. Your role will contribute to enabling a more sustainable world through the Nexus of Clean Strategy. Your responsibilities will include: - Overseeing End to End Quality Assurance and Control activities for Reciprocating Compressor, from Inward material Quality Assurance to handling Warranty/Customer complaints. - Establishing and maintaining Quality Management System requirements in the Product line. - Creating and maintaining SOPs for QA activities to ensure quality standards are met and aligned with customer requirements. - Developing In-process PPAP for new products and conducting Manufacturing and design reviews for new products and projects. - Liaising with Customers and TPIs for Stage and Product clearance, and training small teams in Quality Practices and Systems. Your work environment will involve: - Coordinating and overseeing Shopfloor activities for 3 to 5 hours a day. - Demonstrating NDT test (Level 2) as needed and using quality engineering methods in inspection. - Collaborating with internal/external stakeholders to meet Product, Process, QMS, and Customer requirements. - Traveling to Customer sites/offices for approximately 30 days a year to understand Quality requirements and support product troubleshooting. Your qualifications should include: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. - 10 to 13 years of experience in Quality Assurance Activities, with 2 or more years in end-to-end Quality activities. - Preferable experience in Reciprocating compressor products. - NDT Level 2 in RT/UT and MPI/DPT methods preferred. - Six Sigma Green Belt certification is a plus.
