Job Description
Experience: 7 to 10 years Qualification: B.E. Mechanical JOB DESCRIPTION: Mechanical Engineer with 7-10 years of experience in the energy/power sector, having experience in plant planning and project management of power plants. Detailed Description: Preparation and review of the following documents (based on job order and without detailed instructions): - Level work schedule for Proposal work and Execution work in MS project - Review of client enquiry and preparing the clarifications - Design Basis and project standards for plant planning - Process flow diagrams (PFD) and layout including detailed information - Heat-mass balance diagrams for power plants/process plants - Thermal Design of boilers/heat exchangers using excel or special tool - Equipment sizing for power plants/process plants equipment - Review of overall GA and Layout drawing (2D and 3D) with plans at various elevations - Civil foundation load data preparation - Facility planning drawing like (Road, Entry/exit, disposal, Traffic, etc.) - Piping layout and Ducting layout - Material requisition (Enquiry) in detail - Vendor evaluation & vendor document control with tracking sheet - Estimation of all direct/indirect material/labor cost - Cost compilation and tracking of cost updates till order transfer - Proposal preparation, compilation and submission Required Skills: - Planning/Scheduling - Layouting skills - Communication and presentation skills - Adaptability to smoothly manage the issues with various stakeholders (inside and outside organization) - Good knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD; efficient use of MS Project or any other tool.,
