Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager Logistics to lead logistics operations, optimize supply chain efficiency, and manage vendor and team performance. The ideal candidate will play a key role in strategic planning and execution of logistics activities, ensuring cost control, timely delivery, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Plan and oversee end-to-end logistics operations including transportation, warehousing, and distribution. Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and evaluate service performance. Monitor KPIs and drive initiatives to improve delivery timelines and reduce logistics costs. Collaborate with internal departments (sales, procurement, inventory) to align supply chain goals. Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with regulations, and support audits. Lead a team of executives and provide training, guidance, and performance management. Generate reports and dashboards for senior management review. Requirements: Graduate/Postgraduate in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field. 57 years of hands-on logistics experience, with at least 12 years in a supervisory/managerial role. Strong knowledge of ERP, WMS, and TMS systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.). Excellent leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills. Proven ability to manage complex logistics challenges in a high-volume environment.
