Profile Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Manager - Accounts to join our team at our Polymer Factory in Ahmednagar. The ideal candidate will have 8 to 10 years of experience in accounting, financial management, taxation, and compliance within the manufacturing sector. This role requires expertise in financial reporting, GST, TDS, MIS reports, and audits, along with strong leadership skills to manage daily accounting operations efficiently. Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Accounting & Financial Management: Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including bookkeeping, ledger maintenance, and reconciliations. Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statements). Handle cost accounting & inventory valuation in alignment with industry standards. 2. Taxation & Compliance: Ensure GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances are filed on time. Liaise with tax consultants and auditors for internal & external audits. Keep track of changes in tax laws and implement necessary changes in accounting procedures. 3. MIS & Financial Analysis: Prepare and present MIS reports, financial analysis, and budgeting forecasts to management. Conduct variance analysis to identify financial trends and provide recommendations for cost control. Assist in budget preparation and monitoring financial performance against budgeted targets. 4. Audit & Internal Controls: Coordinate with auditors for statutory, internal, and tax audits. Implement and maintain strong internal controls to prevent financial discrepancies. Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations. Required Skills: 1. Educational Qualification: CA / CMA / M.Com / MBA (Finance) 2. Experience: 8-10 years in accounts & finance, preferably in the manufacturing sector / Polymer Industry. 3. Strong knowledge of Tally, MS Excel, and accounting software. 4. Expertise in GST, TDS, financial reporting, and compliance management. 5. Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 6.
