Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assembly Support Technician to join our dynamic team at Vivid LED System. The role involves supporting both onsite and offsite assembly of advanced LED video wall systems, ensuring high-quality installations and seamless operational functionality. The ideal candidate will assist in assembling, installing, and testing video wall components while adhering to safety protocols and maintaining quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect and verify all components and materials required for LED video wall assembly.
- Organize and prepare tools and equipment for efficient assembly operations.
- Conduct quality checks and assemble LED modules and frames according to specifications.
- Assist in the transportation, unloading, and setup of video wall components at customer sites.
- Assemble, mount, and align LED panels to achieve seamless displays.
- Connect power, data, and control systems as per configuration requirements.
- Ensure the structural integrity and safety of the installed video walls.
- Perform power-on testing and troubleshoot assembly or operational issues.
- Collaborate with technical teams to resolve display malfunctions.
- Quality Control & Reporting:Conduct final inspections for defects, damages, and proper alignment.
- Maintain job sheets, QC reports, and material usage logs.
- Submit detailed closure reports upon completion of installation projects.
- Assist with periodic maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of installed LED video walls.
- Respond to and resolve service calls when required.
- Follow all safety procedures during assembly and installation activities.
- Ensure adherence to company guidelines and client site requirements.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Basic knowledge of electrical connections and assembly processes.
- Ability to read technical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel and work onsite as required.
- Skills & Competencies:Hands-on experience with tools and assembly techniques.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment safely.
- Proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
