Job Summary:

An Assembly Technician is responsible for assembling various components or products, either manually or using tools and machines, following detailed instructions, blueprints, or technical drawings. The role requires precision, attention to detail, and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble parts, components, or products according to technical specifications or blueprints.
• Use hand tools, power tools, or machines to perform assembly tasks.
• Inspect finished products for quality and functionality.
• Identify and report any defective parts or issues during the assembly process.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), safety guidelines, and quality standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Assist in troubleshooting and repairing faulty assemblies when required.
• Record production data and complete documentation as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• diploma in mechanical/electronics or related field preferred.
• Basic mechanical or electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read technical drawings or assembly instructions.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Physical stamina to stand or work long hours.

Work Environment:

• Factory or manufacturing unit setting.
• May require use of safety gear such as gloves, goggles, or earplugs.
• Regular standing, lifting, bending, and operating tools.
