Job Description
Monitor a portfolio of unsecured loan accounts (e.g., personal loans, credit cards). Track delinquent accounts and prioritize recovery efforts based on risk, age of debt, and value. Develop and implement effective recovery strategies (e.g., calling campaigns, legal action, settlements). Use data analytics to segment customers and tailor collection approaches. Lead and train collections agents or officers. Set performance goals and ensure adherence to compliance and customer service standards. Ensure collectors engage with borrowers professionally to recover dues. Handle escalated disputes or complex customer issues. Coordinate with legal teams for high-risk or non-cooperative borrowers. Recommend and follow up on legal actions like sending legal notices or initiating court proceedings. Prepare regular reports on collections performance, aging analysis, recovery rates, etc. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and fair debt collection practices.
