Subject: JD / Brief of Architect (BE Arc)

We are basically architects & interior designers, we execute projects on turnkey basis, mainly we deal with corporates clients like IT/ITES/Pharma etc industries and majorly in commercial & corporate sectors.

We are looking for a creative and inspired architect to handle projects from the initial requirement brief through to the final stages of construction.

The architect's responsibilities include managing developing and presenting design proposals, preparing drawings, specifications, construction documents, and interacting with the project teams to provide required information.

Candidate should be able to take ownership of your project, be it the designing the interiors / office construction / space management .

To be successful in this position you should be able to visualize space in three dimensions, have a good understanding of construction technologies and be passionate about providing beautiful and functional homes or office spaces to end users.

Roles and Responsibilities

Managing design projects from concept development through to completion.

Developing and presenting project design proposals.

Adjusting designs and plans to meet the vision of the chief architect.

Preparing drawings, blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Conducting research and compiling reports on feasibility and environmental impact.

Complying with safety standards and local planning regulations.

Determining and adhering to budgets and timelines.

independently create full design concepts for projects based on Principals design vision

Prepare presentations by creating mood boards, floorplans, drawings and elevations.

Follow up with vendors on lead times and quotes

Organize and manage samples library

Research new products and materials

Type up and organize meeting notes, project status, deliverables, etc.

Read architectural plans and produce scaled sketches, drawings and room layouts.

Should be skilled enough to work ok 3D elevation and interior design renders

Control project from start to finish to ensure high quality, innovative and functional design

Take the brief to identify clients needs and put together feasibility reports and design proposals

Develop ideas keeping in mind clients needs, buildings usage and environmental impact

Produce detailed blueprints and make any necessary corrections

Compile project specifications

Keep within budgets and timelines

Desired Candidate Profile

Degree in architecture (BE Arc only)

Minimum 4+ years of previous experience as an architect preferred.

Excellent technical drawing skills.

Strong communication and project management skills.

Good interpersonal and presentation skills.

Knowledge of building codes and regulatory standards.

Strong creative and visualization skills.

Software knowledge - CAD-2D, if 3D is there advantage, Rivet, Sketchup, 3DS max, V-ray, Lumion, Photoshop

Skills required in Architectural designing and interiors with creative ideas

Coordination with clients about design and convincing by giving more options to select interiors

Experience in working Residential Construction on turnkey basis

Proven working experience as an Architect

Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills

Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards

Excellent drawing skills and familiarity with design software (Adobe Photoshop, SketchUp, 3d Studio VIZ or similar)

Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions

Visual awareness and an eye for detail
