Job Description

Make outbound calls to clients or insurance payers regarding overdue invoices and unpaid claims.

Handle inbound calls to address billing queries, clarify invoices, and assist with payments.

Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including billing errors and denial cases; escalate or submit appeals as needed.

Perform pre-call analysis using payers portals, IVR, or internal systems to understand status or denials.

Negotiate payment plans or settlements with clients or insurance to recover due amounts.

Maintain uptodate and accurate records of call notes, payment commitments, and collection activities in CRM or billing platforms.

Collaborate with billing, coding, or finance teams to resolve claim issues and streamline processes.

Generate and submit reports on AR status, collections progress, and aging summaries for management review.

Meet or exceed daily or monthly call/contact and collections targets.
