As an Ansible Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for working on an IT automation engine that streamlines cloud provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, intra-service orchestration, and various other IT requirements. This role offers you the opportunity to be part of a dedicated and dynamic team focused on automation solutions. Your primary responsibilities will include developing Ansible playbooks and modules, offering technical support to GITM Ops on automation solution usage, and resolving issues across development, testing, and production environments. You will also be tasked with managing the Ansible infrastructure, conducting maintenance and configurations, and delivering expert-level support. Updating system documentation, process guidelines, diagrams, and SOPs will be part of your routine tasks. Collaborating closely with the GITM engineering team, you will be involved in creating and implementing Ansible solutions for a distributed data center infrastructure setup. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in maintaining both Unix and Windows infrastructures, automating business processes and software deployment through various frameworks and development tools such as Python, JavaScript, and Bash. Testing new application versions and add-ons in a lab environment before deployment in production will also be within your purview. To qualify for this role, you should possess a degree in Computer Science/Engineering or a related field, or hold a Red Hat Certified Specialist certification in Ansible Automation (EX407).,
