Job Description

As an Android Developer at our company, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications for a wide range of Android devices. Your main focus will be on creating Android applications and integrating them with back-end services. You will collaborate with other engineers and developers across various infrastructure layers to ensure the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities: - Transform designs and wireframes into high-quality code. - Develop advanced applications for the Android platform. - Create and maintain efficient, reusable Java/Kotlin code. - Work with cross-functional teams to implement new features and ensure optimal performance and quality. - Utilize outside data sources and APIs effectively. - Identify and resolve bottlenecks and bugs. - Stay updated on new technologies to enhance development efficiency. - Uphold code quality, organization, and automation. - Implement security measures to protect users" data. - Collaborate with UI/UX Designers and Software Testers to ensure app functionality and presentation. - Monitor app reviews for feedback and enhancements. - Conduct code reviews and perform unit testing for robustness. - Familiarity with Agile methodologies. - Proficiency in CI/CD practices would be beneficial. Mandatory Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in software development, computer science, or related field. - Proficiency in Java and Kotlin. - 3+ years of experience in Android app development with published apps. - Strong knowledge of Android Studio and SDK. - Understanding of different Android versions and screen sizes. - Excellent coding, teamwork, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively. - Experience with REST, JSON, third-party libraries, and APIs. - Knowledge of mobile development life cycle and UI design principles. - Skills in offline storage, threading, and performance optimization. - Familiarity with code versioning tools like Git. Desired Skills: - Familiarity with Flutter Framework and Dart. - Experience with cloud message APIs and push notifications. - Ability to optimize code for performance. - Understanding of continuous integration practices.
