Job Description

As an Analytical R&D professional, your role will involve conducting a wide range of analytical tests, studies, and research to support drug development processes from the initial stages of research through to product launch. This will include activities such as stability and degradation studies, as well as the development of analytical methods to effectively characterize drug substances and formulations. In the field of Analytical R&D within the pharmaceutical industry, you will be responsible for various key aspects such as conducting bioanalytical studies during preclinical and clinical trials for new chemical entities (NCEs). You will also play a crucial role in determining the physicochemical properties of drug substances and formulations, including properties like thermal behavior, particle size, and surface area. Additionally, a significant part of your role will involve conducting stability and degradation studies to understand how drug substances and formulations may change over time, ensuring their quality and safety. You will also be involved in developing robust analytical methods that are essential for testing drug substances, formulations, and finished products effectively. Moreover, you will be expected to provide essential analytical data to support the formulation development of APIs and formulations, catering to both generics and NCEs. As part of your responsibilities, you will work with various drug types, supporting the development of small molecules, peptides, and non-biological complex drugs.
