Job Description

The Assistant Engineer is responsible for ensuring the maintenance, operational efficiency, and safety of all rides and attractions at the Khopoli, Maharashtra location. This role involves managing maintenance costs, enhancing uptime, fostering talent development, driving innovation, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining safety standards. Overseeing maintenance costs according to the budget is a key responsibility, including utilities, inventory, and employee costs. Planning for spare parts and implementing automation strategies are also part of the responsibilities. Managing planned, preventive, breakdown, and predictive maintenance programs is crucial for uptime management. Effective inventory/spares management and maintaining vendor relations are also important aspects of this role. Identifying training needs, implementing role rotation plans, and facilitating technical training and multi-craft programs for team members are part of talent development initiatives. Driving cost reduction in ride and engineering maintenance, leading process improvements, and collaborating with cross-functional teams for new projects and capital planning are key for innovation initiatives. Developing measurement systems for guest satisfaction, conducting failure analysis for continuous improvement, monitoring incidents and safety audits, ensuring compliance, and implementing necessary training programs are essential for maintaining safety and guest satisfaction. Conducting engagement surveys, executing action plans based on feedback, and ensuring employee satisfaction and development are vital for employee engagement. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field), with an advanced degree preferred. Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills are also required for this role.,
