As a Field Office Coordinator at Caterpillar, your role involves managing and coordinating a diverse array of field office tasks to support the district's business objectives. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring revenue recognition through the processing of work orders and issuance of Field Service invoice instructions. Reporting to the District Service Manager, you will operate with a considerable degree of independence, potentially working remotely depending on the location. Your responsibilities include providing administrative support to various key personnel such as the District Manager, MMS Operations Manager, Field Service Supervisor, Customer Service Sales Representatives, Account Managers, Regional Field Engineer, and Field Employees. This entails handling a range of office activities and systems, addressing issues, and collaborating on projects with team members. In this role, you will be tasked with managing office operations, coordinating projects, and resolving complex problems and conflicts. You will also be responsible for prioritizing workloads, both your own and that of others, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and the achievement of administrative objectives. Additionally, you will liaise with external customers and internal stakeholders, contributing to the seamless functioning of the field office. Your principal accountabilities will include providing logistical and administrative support, managing office duties, coordinating with Field Service Supervisor, tracking employee training and certifications, overseeing invoicing processes, and ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. The role also involves creating jobs and work orders, reviewing expense reports, and maintaining accurate records. To excel in this position, you should possess strong judgment, a comprehensive understanding of customer service principles, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant systems. A minimum of 3-5 years of office experience or related administrative expertise is required. This full-time office-based position is based in Mumbai, India.
