Job Description

As a hospital receptionist, your primary responsibility will be to welcome patients, pharmaceutical representatives, vendors, and visitors over the phone and in-person. You will be tasked with answering patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, and assisting patients in filling out medical forms. Additionally, you will transcribe physician notes, maintain patient records and accounts, and ensure the confidentiality of patient and doctor information. In this role, you will be responsible for answering a multi-line phone system, transferring calls to the appropriate departments, and preparing customer bills and specimen labels for the next day's patients. It will also be your duty to keep track of office supplies, maintain inventories, and place orders as necessary. You will be expected to update patient insurance information and ensure the overall maintenance of the reception area. The ideal candidate for this full-time position should have at least 1 year of experience as a receptionist with administrative duties. The work location for this role is in person, and the schedule will be during the day shift.,
