Accounts Manager (CANDIDATES WITH CA FIRM EXPERIENCE PREFERRED)
? Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to oversee accounting operations, financial controls, and day-to-day financial reporting. The ideal candidate will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure efficient financial processes, regulatory compliance, and informed decision-making.
- ? Key Responsibilities
- Financial Operations & Record-Keeping
- Manage bookkeeping, general ledger transactions, reconciliations, and month-end closings.
- Prepare balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow statements, and financial forecasts.
- Compliance & Tax Management
- Oversee GST/Income Tax compliance and statutory filings within deadlines; coordinate with auditors.
- Reporting & Analysis
- Generate timely financial reports and dashboards for stakeholder review.
- Analyze budget variances, cash flow trends, and liquidity health.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Mentor junior accounting staff, review their work, and foster skills development.
- Coordinate with operations, sales, procurement, and senior management for unified business insights.
- Process Improvement & Controls
- Implement and streamline internal financial controls, audit readiness, and process optimizations.
- Introduce automation or software enhancements to boost accuracy and efficiency.
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in creating budgets, forecasts, and projections; conduct regular variance analysis for management decisions.
- Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Liaise with vendors, banks, regulators, and other external parties to resolve financial queries or issues.
The Accounts Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, ensuring accurate financial reporting, managing budgets, supervising accounting staff, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and internal controls.
