Job Description
As an Accounting Manager at Reveleer in Chennai, India, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily accounting functions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, and providing accurate financial information to support decision-making. Your expertise in Indian accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial management, along with strong leadership and organizational skills, will be crucial for success in this role. Your main responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing accurate financial statements, analyzing the company's financial results, establishing transfer pricing processes, coordinating with the US parent company for consolidated global reporting, reconciling accounts, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports summarizing business activity and financial position, ensuring compliance with Indian tax laws, coordinating with auditors and regulatory bodies, issuing regular and ad hoc reports to senior management, and developing and mentoring team members. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CA/ICWA qualification being highly preferred. Additionally, you should have a minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), GST, TDS, EPF, Transfer Pricing, and other statutory regulations is essential. Experience working as an Accounting Manager in a Global Capability Center (GCC) in India for a US headquartered company would be advantageous. Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage or similar ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments, are also key attributes required for this role.,
