Job Title: Accountant Company: Plaza Catering Location: Shornur , Palakkad - kerala Job Type: Full-Time Experience Required: 5 to 10 years Industry: Catering / Food & Beverage Job Summary: Plaza Catering is looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage financial records, oversee GST submissions, and handle day-to-day accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have 510 years of relevant experience, strong knowledge of Tally, and proficiency in GST processes. Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day accounting operations. - Prepare financial statements and reports. - Conduct bank reconciliations and journal entries. - Ensure timely and accurate GST submission and compliance. - Maintain ledgers and monitor cash flow. - Coordinate with internal departments and external auditors. - Use Tally ERP software for all financial entries and reporting. - Ensure compliance with accounting standards and local financial regulations. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelors Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or higher (M.Com / MBA in Finance preferred). - Minimum 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting roles. - Proficient in Tally ERP and Microsoft Excel. - Strong knowledge of GST regulations and tax filings. - Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills. - Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
