Job Description
Role Overview: Were looking for a creative and sustainability-minded Product Designer with a strong background in bag design to join our growing team. The ideal candidate combines technical know-how with aesthetic sensibility and has a passion for vegan materials, ethical design, and environmental impact reduction. Key Responsibilities: Design & Development: Create original concepts and designs for handbags, backpacks, totes, and other bag categories with a focus on function, aesthetics, and sustainability. Translate design ideas into detailed tech packs, sketches, and 3D mockups for sampling and production. Work with vegan and eco-friendly materials, continually researching innovations in sustainable textiles and hardware. Sourcing & Materials: Collaborate with sourcing teams to select plant-based, recycled, or low-impact materials that align with the brands sustainability goals. Stay ahead of trends and advancements in cruelty-free and circular design. Partner with product development, sourcing, and marketing teams to bring designs from concept to final product. Participate in fittings, prototype reviews, and production reviews, providing clear feedback and design iterations as needed. Brand & Storytelling: Ensure all designs reflect the brand ethos of minimal environmental impact, ethical production, and modern aesthetics. Contribute to storytelling and product narrative, emphasizing the "why" behind each design decision.,
